Shipping and Return Policies

 

The following content explains the terms and conditions that constitute our shipping and return policy.


Shipment processing time

  • Please allow 10-14 business days to process, pack and ship your item(s). 
  • Shipping time is dependent on your location. All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking, signature required, and insurance.  Packages will not be delivered unless an adult over the age of 18 signs for the delivery. 
  • E-mail notification will be sent with tracking information once your painting ships.
  • Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.     
  • If there is a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you.


Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Unique Shadows provides shipment in the United States free of charge. Delivery takes about 5-7 business days from the shipped date.


Taxes

Taxes are calculated during the payment process.


International orders

Unique Shadows  is not responsible for any custom fees and taxes applied to orders shipped to other countries. In this case all fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, VAT, other taxes, customs duties, etc.)


Damaged items

All orders are insured when shipped. Unique Shadows is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If your order is received damaged, please take several photos of the damaged areas and contact us to file a claim. If you receive a damaged painting, please save the damaged box, take photographs of the damages and immediately contact us at cs@uniqueshadows.com so we can immediately file a claim with the shipping company. They will need to see the box and painting to launch an investigation. All of our paintings are fully insured. 


Refunds

We do not not offer refunds  unless items are received damaged (See "Return of damaged items"  above).  A photograph of the purchased items(s) will be e-mailed to customers prior to shipping.  Please review the photograph of the purchased item and advise of any cancellation request.

Shipping, insurance, tracking and signature costs are included in prices and the costs will be deducted from refunds for damaged items. 


Please note that Unique Shadows does not cover return shipping costs for damaged items returned to us.  We recommend using a delivery service with a tracking number and add insurance.
